Your Nurse’s Professional Liability policy will complement the limited coverage
you may have from your employer by giving you:
- up to $200,000 of coverage per claim and the ability to increase this
amount by adding umbrella
coverage
- coverage for sums you are legally obligated to pay when a patient under
your care is injured due to an alleged act or omission while furnishing
professional nursing services
- coverage whether you are working for an employer or caring for patients on
your own time
- coverage for you when another person is providing nursing services under
your direction, control or supervision
